Certification Process

The certification process for the awarding of an ISO accreditation might seem daunting, but in reality, it isn’t that hard. The hardest part is to set out a plan for the time frame in which you want your accreditation to be completed and assess the viability of the plan in terms of how realistic it is to change non-standard operating procedures into standard ones if needed.

ESTIMATE

The estimate is undertaken to determine the amount of time and training that will be needed to gear up your company to take the step towards ISO certification.

This stage does not require a visit and iSOCERTIFICATIONSG.COM.SG ‘s consultants can usually perform one from a simple docket of information your company may be asked to submit, either in person or over the phone.

VISIT

iSOCERTIFICATIONSG.COM.SG’s consultants visit the premises of the company and determine where their initial estimate was off by. The final deliverables in terms of training and process revamping is undertaken by our trained professionals and the timelines for the final implementation of the ISO certification is readjusted. Plans are made regarding what needs to be done and the certification process commences in earnest.

AUDIT
VISIT

These are done for the purpose of assessing how far the plan has advanced and how much more needs to be done before an external audit can be undertaken for the purposes of accreditation. iSOCERTIFICATIONSG.COM.SG ‘s consultants use these visits as a measure of progress over time and the timelines are further adjusted if necessary to reflect the progress or lack thereof in regards to the proposed completion date

& MONITORING

iSOCERTIFICATIONSG.COM.SG’s auditors determine that your company has managed to attain the required level of operating efficiency and awards you with accreditation that is valid for a period of not more than three years. Yearly monitoring is carried out with an annual audit in order to ascertain that the standards are being upheld and to provide ways to improve the current system.

RE-CERTIFICATION
VISIT

At the end of the three-year period, the auditors revisit the company for the purposes of determining if the standards are being upheld. If not, the certification is revoked. Because of iSOCERTIFICATIONSG.COM.SG ‘s dedication toward ensuring you maintain your certification; the yearly visits for the purpose of monitoring are essential in holding onto your certification. The recommendations in these reports are critical.
